Project
Overview
Design and Build a large Queenstown-style barn on a steep site, with a bridge that connects the home with a large deck and pool area.
Challenges
The site was situated on the side of a cliff and required major engineering solutions in order to build the home and pool area. The client further wanted to complete the home in a very short period of time.
This was approximately 50% faster than what would be the standard timeline for a project of this magnitude.

Solutions
Building this home on a tight timeline meant that our planning had to be extensive, while also allowing for some flexibility along the way. Materials were sourced well in advance while the team worked tirelessly to ensure all milestones were achieved on time and budget.
This project further required extensive collaboration among planners, architects, consultants, ecology specialists and multiple construction companies.
