Overview
Design and Build an Alpine Barn Style forever home for a fast growing family that loves to entertain.
Challenges
Designing a home that would fit and fully maximise the client’s corner site was at the top of their brief. Even though the client had an exceptional corner site, they had a long list of ‘must haves’ they wanted to include onto the site. This included 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a movie room, an outside entertainment area and fireplace as well as a pool while still having land leftover for the kids to be able to play.
Beyond that the clients had real concerns around the build process, budget blowouts and timeline overruns. They wanted to avoid the horror stories so many others have experienced when building a home.

The client worked closely in collaboration with the architect, Designate, to provide the right solutions and aesthetic outcome for their specific site. This resulted in them being able to include all their desired ‘must haves’ without settling for a less than desirable home.
To overcome their building process, budget and timeline concerns, we ensured all aspects of the project were well planned out in advance and that our communication with the client was extensive and frequent.
